Also, this reminds me of a quest In WoW where your future self comes back to warn you of disaster, then later on in the game you get a quest to travel back in time and warn yourself about the information that you warned yourself about in the first place. |

What about the concept of alternate realities? Its like when you mess with something in the past, you don't erase your time line but instead create a new and alternate time line that runs beside it. Theory is, it happens all the time even without time travel creating the concept of parallel worlds. |

Maybe when you timetravel you stop belonging to the timeline, so any change you made in the past doesn't affect you. And when you go back to your time the "you" that existed in the timeline up until that very moment gets replaced with the "timetraveler you". |

It could be the intro for Cadence/Cadance, the new Alicorn princess - from her name people speculated she's the master of time, so maybe that's how time travel happened.
