After a few years stuck there you might think differently, CogWeaver, lol. The main reason I think humans have such a strong stigma against interspecies relationships (or at least the idea of them, since a genuine interspecies relationship can't exist until there is some non-human sapient creature for humans to interact with) is because there is no other sapient species on Earth, and hasn't been for the entire evolution of our modern society. Back when there were still Neanderthals, I doubt anyone had much of an idea of the concept of a "species", or cared one way or the other who they get busy with, lol.
After years in Equestria, dealing every day dealing with non-humans as intelligent, rational and emotionally sensitive as yourself, I think all but the most closed-minded of humans would eventually start to adjust their internal definition of what "person" really means. It might take a bit longer than it would take with legitimate aliens, since G4 ponies are based on a real-life lower animal wheras aliens would probably be like nothing we'd ever seen, but I think it would eventually happen. |

Anyway, realistically speaking, it's much better to have some kind of emotional connection if you really want to do that with one of them, heh.
While I'm throwing the word "fuck"/etc. around a bit to mean sex, I guess that's giving a cruder impression than I meant to. Personally, I've never gotten much out of meaningless rendezvous. If you're talking about a "stuck in Equestria for the rest of of your life" scenario, the fact is that nobody really wants to spend their life alone. Eventually, for various reasons, most people would adapt to the new reality of their situation; and end up better off for it. |

We currently, are the only fully sentient species on planet earth. We have an evolved sense of self-awareness, spatial awareness, emotion, and thought that other species lack. Well, lack to the level we have, if the mirror test is any indication we aren't the only species with self-awareness. |

Plus if you think about it, despite our evolutionary traits and our inflated sense of "superiority" we are animals to. We are nothing special, just more advanced. So all we really would need is another creature that could connect on a higher level with us.

We're not. The universe is massive beyond measure, we don't even occupy a % of % of it. I doubt any of us will live to see contact, or if our species will ever meet anything, but trust me their out there.
To give you a hint the average galaxy has about 100-200 billion stars, with an estimated 500 billion galaxies in the universe. Just try and wrap your mind around that. |

485: Historians? No, that's been genetically proven but then again, Neanderthal's were a lot more complex and evolved than the popular portrayal would have you believe. Even still, a lot of you are acting as if Bestiality never happens, even if the species isn't the same, similar feelings can actually develop and be mutual between us and Animals. When a Dog humps your leg, do you think it's just because you're convenient? Or because they want to bond with you sexually? Even if Animals cannot express themselves as articulately, they are still self-aware and have strong emotions. The more I see, the more I'm convinced that Sexual desires are not strictly a mechanical impulse but that they arise from the Emotional state of feeling affection for another being and wanting to express and develop them. Spend any time bonding with an Animal and you'll see that they can Love us just as deeply as we Love other Human's.
As for the Little Ponies, I'd need to develop a deep bond with one of them first as well as not be in a committed relationship but if those two criteria were meant: I can readily admit that It'd be a wonderful relationship. |
