Considering parts of this fandom take Rainbow Dash tackling Applejack as a sign that they're a couple, I guess I really shouldn't be surprised some people take the end of "Hearts and Hooves Day" as Cheerimac shipping. I'll just continue watching the episodes sans shipping goggles, myself. |

The wink, while a joke between them, could also have been flirtatious, and the two of them had spent the entire day together while the CMC did Mac's chores. They then did go to the gazebo for dinner, in what was obviously a romantic sunset. There's a big difference between that and Applejack and Rainbow Dash tackling each other. The episode heavily implied that they are on their way to becoming a couple, if not already. |

@Anon953: If RD and AJ tackled each other, then we'd be onto something. ;) And while one could look at the end of "Hearts and Hooves Day" as hinting at Cheerimac, I think the fact that it can just as easily be interpreted as them being friends would be enough to keep Cheerimac from being considered canon.
