I still prefer thinking that under that playful, affably evil facade is either a misunderstood trickster or a complete monster. Chaos isn't evil, per se. Order without Chaos is stagnance, and Chaos without Order is destruction. Order is stability, and chaos is change, in their most positive forms. If Discord is evil, it isn't because of his nature: It's because he's a bastard.
