Faust is one of my personal heroes for this. MLP:FIM has been the main force that has helped me threw my Depression and sad times in life. People have called me a Fag and a Pedo for liking MLP:FIM. But they won't understand how much the show helps me get threw hard times. I have been a Brony since September of 2011. And i hope i remain one forever more. |

Yes there's the manchildren standard go-by but it wasn't outright contemptful, it was more like a non trekkie asking Uhura "How do you put up with these weird people asking if you'll ever do more fan dancing?" That other junkie dude was basically like "Grown men liking little girly ponies? Why aren't these freaks imprisoned?" |

lol oh lauren faust, you need to see more of the brony fandom then because bronies are definitely not embracing femininity as something worthy and positive. Brony attitude is pretty much, "This show is so not girly (eww!), it's manly! And therefore good". I have yet to see one Brony say, "Yay! This show is girly and therefore awesome!". |
