I kind of really want Cadence to end up being a normal pony that is pretending to be an Alicorn to impress Shining Armor.
That, or maybe incredibly powerful ponies can ascend to Alicorn status. It was said somewhere that neither Luna or Celestia are natural deities, but they wield enough power to be considered so. Which is a lot. I mean, they move fucking enormous celestial bodies. Which begs the question: If Cadence is that powerful, what is her role in Equestria, if she has one? Is she some immensely powerful puppeteer that pulls the strings from behind the scenes? Does she embody some great power? As much as I dislike there being another Alicorn, I'm really fucking curious as to how she fits into the grand scheme of things. There being a third god-empress is kind of a huge thing. |
