I wish trolls would phase out. I jive on a good prank, but there's a difference between a good prank and going through great lenngths to ruin everyone's fun. A fire marshall shuts down a rock show because they think the out-of-control crowd might burn the town down. A troll shuts down a show because everyone is having more fun than they are. In other words, they are sad, lonely, loveless, hateful fools.
I find it really hard to take pity on them. But whose fault is that? |

They have to seriously inspect each one of the claims. Authentic takedown notices has to either come from the following:
1)Hasbro, or its lawyers 2)The Hub, or its lawyers 3)Cable/satellite network that carries the Hub, or its lawyers. It's apparent that these takedown notices are pretty much coming from #3. They stand to lose the most money by these free Internet rebroadcasts. Their contracts state that they can file complaints pro tem, that is, on their behalf, if they won't. Even if the Hub or Hasbro disagrees, they cannot stop a cable/satellite network from protecting its investment in the Hub. |

Youtube DOES NOT CHEKK THE VALIDITY OF ANY NOTICES.
They don't hav the resources for it, and the DMCA (oh what a WONDERFUL law that is) puts them at liability for it if they slip up even once when they get a takedown request. |
