The technology progresses rapidly in Equestria. In S1 the trains had to be pulled by stallions, in S2 they already have expresses motorized by engines. |

I like the steam cars. Come to think of it, they did last a while up until internal combustion why they just needed to simply swap the engines at the factory.
I believe the sentinel steam truck lasted a while after internal combustion. |
