Are pony signatures their cutie marks?
Wouldn't that make forgery really easy?

Considering his eye is the only part that ISN'T injured, it's safe to say it probably wasn't related to breaking a Pinkie Promise.

Possibly, however if I'm not mistaken signatures are supposed to be unique. It'd likely have a certain flair to it that other people wouldn't likely analyze.

Also, if my hours of watching Pawn Stars doesn't fail me, if a signature is in question, you can always reference legit versions of the signature for where pressure was placed.

Keep in mind I've mostly been talking out of my ass and may or may not know what I'm talking about.

@#974955 - Maybe she wanted the pony to see herself getting beat up? Like "Get a GOOD look... cause this is what happens when you BUCK UP!"

You know, Twilight broke a Pinkie Promise and she wasn't left worse for wear.

@SpacePaladin: But she didn't make that Pinkie Promise to PINKIE.

@Qtoy that actually works better than letters, since letters all derive from the same shapes, but with individual variations. And everyone can draw letters.
A given shape, however, would be something most people can't easily draw, since they aren't used to drawing it. Additionally, color is used and there are all kinds of areas that can hav individual differences. Thus, a really effective signature provided it's hand-drawn.
