Most of the science in 'Day after Tomorrow' was totally wrong. It's impossible for a super cyclone to freeze everything because the lowest temperatures would be at the top, not the bottom. |

^Debatably, from what we've seen.
Sure, Pinkie said Vegetarian, but it's vegans that avoid eating even eggs and milk. Like, you can get a herbivore to eat meat, but what a herbivore really is is just an animal that evolved to get energy in the most efficent manner it can; ie, if greens are plentiful, it's species will evolve to get adequate nutrition from grass. You prolly could domesticate horses into a carnivorous subspecies, but that would take an incredible amount of time and breeding, starting with having any luck at getting mutations that would be benficial for a carnivorous horse, and being able to identify and breed them effectively, especially since a herbivore's system is so focused on digesting plant matter, I don't think you could have a healthy horse specimen if it subsided only on meat. We're omnivores because basically our evolutionary path was "Adapt to damn near anything"--- which is my guess as to why we evolved sentience and creativity at all; the ability to make shit up is prolly what made us so effective at survival. |
