Sometimes I think Spike should be the Kenny of the fandom. He goes through alot of abuse in the actual show, he get's left out of almost everything, I've seen a few grimdark fanfics where he's the first to die, and he's even the same size as Kenny!
Plus, like kenny, He has barely any personality as well. Is there a Spikeabuse meme anywhere? |

^^ No, these are not the main reasons why there is plenty of RD gore / violence, let's keep in mind the root of this is the fanfic "Cupcakes", which became viral and is the most famous/overused fanfic related to MLP FiM. Because it is one of the most violent and provocative fic causing maximum disruption and argument. Of course people want to fit in the crowd / follow the trend, everyone talked about it, it was spread over the internet and many artists got inspired by it and made further drawings / illustrations of it. Most artists who drew/posted Cupcakes on Deviant Art, are Pinkie pie fans themselves, who use this as reason to claim that "Pinkie Pie is best Pony because she dominates every other pony / you should better watch out for Pinkie Pie, she is not a pony to fuck with" etc etc. Just in the last cider episode when pinkie Pie emptied all the cider and drank the last rest of it in front of Rainbow Dash, a lot Pinkie pie fans again claimed this as valid evidence that Pinkie "owns" Rainbow Dash in the show and thus is best pony.
The recently published SHED.MOV (with the retarded ponies) where Fluttershy kills RD in the shed, is also only derived from Cupcakes (the typical scenario with RD being cuffed on a chair and can't move / escape while a saw cuts her in two pieces).You see? it's all Cupcake references. Let's face it, had this fanfic never existed there certainly wouldn't be nearly as much Dash abuse as there is now. I'd say at least 80% of all Rainbow Dash gore (art & fics) only exist because of Cupcakes (the other 20% includes Scootabuse). So, no. RD is not the most disliked character, she just fell victim to the most overused gore fanfic in MLP universe. I mean, just go to Google images and search for the tags: "Rainbow Dash gore blood", I tell you, there is almost only Cupcakes references. I haven't seen much Rainbow Dash gore that is NOT derived from this annoying fic. |

@972765: I love Pinkie Pie, but I dislike the whole "Pinkamena's a psychotic killer" mainly because she only went crazy because she thought her friends didn't want to be around her anymore, and at one time when she decided to deal with someone who was messing with her and her friends (Gilda) she threw her a party. |
