I personally preferred SHED.MOV over the new episode as well. OP pic isn't complaining, rather than it is stating a preference between two things that came around. Also, please don't ask people to not voice their opinion. That's not fair. Ask them to not be obnoxious about their opinion. |

SHED.MOV seems more of a fandom parody than a parody of the series. You could watch APPLE.MOV, DRESS.MOV, then read Cupcakes and you could pretty much guess what was going to happen. |

SHED.MOV: Relying too much on death, blood, gore and shocking value as black comedy, which makes it seem a bit untasteful and lazy. Redeeming values are that it is pretty wacky in a good way. Vastly inferior in terms of creativity to APPLES.MOV and DRESS.MOV.
Read It And Weep: Laziest animation in the series (off-screen aerobatics, shots of the same scenery for almost half of the episode, predictability). The action movie parody parts (Indiana Jones, ninja infiltration, chase scene) were pretty sweet. I give SHED a 4/10. I give RiaW a 2/10 for half of the episode and 8.5/10 for the other half. |

Dash dos were all great. People worshipping Dash too much will create too much anticipation.It is still a cartoon fir kids first, cronies second. nobody cares if you think the show should innovate at every episode like some anime. That us also why i kind of hate anime fans who overanalyze and complain too much |

I agree with 697. Everything can't be innovative after all- doesn't mean it isn't good. I liked Shed, but- well, it was sort of predictable: Dash has been the whipping girl before (cupcakes.) Fluttershy has been evil before (Friendship is witchcraft) and been treated like crap by the others before (Mentally Advanced)- in fact the only thing I didn't personally pedict was the song, and even that was predictable to a degree given that Fluttershy's voice was Fat Alberts
Does that mean it was a bad animation? No- it was feckin' hilarious. Read it and Weep actually reminded me of shows like Muppet Babies and the like and had awesome things like Ceiling Crocodiles and Pegasus Battleship (BTW- hasbro: MAKE THAT DAMMIT) I still say both cartoons got laughs out of me, and I was glad to see both. |
