There's a Tumblr for this already? I shouldn't be surprised but the real question is will this tumblr last. |

also that's a popsicle |

I thought a popsicle was just ice cream on a stick? |

@Jack
Popsicles can be considered ice cream. |

@815 It may be ice, but it's certainly not cream. A popsicle is by no accepted definition ice cream. Ice cream MUST be made from some form of dairy product (or dairy substitute) and be soft (relative to actual ice) to qualify for the term. Popsicles, on the other hand, are essentially flavored ice (and they are ALWAYS ice, relatively soft ice, but ice nonetheless). You can find all the above information very easily. They are not secrets anone hides, and most people figure this out on their own. Additionally, no company (at least none that I have ever heard of) ever advertises a popsicle as ice cream. And when someone says "I want strawberry ice cream," they will be very confused if you hand them a strawberry popsicle. And while you can have ice cream on a stick, it is not ever considered a popsicle because, again, it is not actual ice.
In short, you are wrong both technically and in practice. You have failed at basic research and at noticing patterns. This isn't a matter of opinion that you got it wrong. You either ignored or are ignorant of the proper definitions. On a final note, if you got the idea they could be considered the same from Kingdom Hearts, I will gladly tell you that they got it wrong. Very, very wrong. They got something that simple mindbogglingly wrong. Unless it was supposed to be ice cream on a stick, in which case they did a bad job of showing it. But otherwise, they are horrendously, hilariously wrong. |
