Any surgery requires shaving body part that is being cut.

Um, countless kinds of brain and head surgeries require your head to be shaved, no just cancer treatment.
Besides, I have a hard time believing many or any ponies get cancer, as they don't seem to have pesticides, strong chemicals, carcinogenic food additives, and all the other nasty stuff that we have that causes cancer. |
