Well, maybe the poster likes blatant character defilement and lots of blood-and-guts more than he likes an Indiana Jones parody.
It certainly gave me an idea of a fanfic where Fluttershy is a necromancer (no ordinary bloodthirsty maniac could make skinned and gutted animals dance and sing like that). |

I liked APPLE.MOV . Kinda like MLP + Adventure time. The latest two parodies are further from the original source, and just adds shock value here and there. |

Yes.
SHED.MOV was basically two jokes stretched out over the entire running time; and Read it and Weep is perhaps the best Rainbow Dash episode we've ever gotten, predictable or not. |

Shed.MOV didn't really make me laugh that much. There were funny bits here and there but overall gore and murder has lost all shock value in MLP.
I think it's just a problem of the concept really, the guy who made it couldn't start with Shed.mov or there'd be backlash and he couldn't get a foothold into the concept. but by the time he got to this one, cupcakes, rainbow factory and the others have left the viewers pretty jaded. But then again it's not fair to compare a fan video to the professionally made stuff. As the real thing has a bigger production team and budget, while the fan video can get away with a LOT more. |

Much as I love dash, the episodes based around her this season don't have quite the same umph as sonic rainboom. Not that they're bad but they just don't seem quite as good as say, super speedy cider squeezy.

Personally, Read It and Weep was good, but I didn't find myself enthralled like in Baby Cakes or Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 9001.
Daring Do, however, is going to make some great Fanfiction fodder. |

I laughed so hard at SHED.MOV that I woke up my parents and my brother at night. 9/10, would watch again and again, can't wait
RIAW was retarded, frankly. Or at least the segments with Rainbow were, making Rainbow Dash into an ignorant moron. The parts with Daring Doo was pretty cool and funny. Season 2 is starting to slip up. |

I'd say the exemptions are of course are: Return to Harmony Pt 1 Return to Harmony Pt 2 Lesson Zero Hearts Warming Eve and The Super Cider Squeezy 6k On the whole i think S1 was better. And S2 still needs another Winter Wrap Up Ep or at least something nearly as epic as that. |
