^ By dragon standards, its true he's a baby because dragons live for thousands of years. But on the show he's never acted or been treated as a baby at all (except as a rude excuse to ditch Fluttershy in the first episode). SomE even showed his feral dragon form which is anything but babyish. |

^ The age for Spike is an anti-shipper thing.
The ponies obviously don't treat him as too young to have working responsibilities. Even Princess Celestia has faith in Spike's reliability to send and receive reports for her. |
