KV-2, with overkill type of cannon. It's quite useless tank, given the facts that it's slow, clumsy and too heavy. and no, it's not anti-Tiger. IS-1, IS-2, IS-3, SU-100 and others WERE tiger-killing tanks. Not KV-2 |

but its the tank that trolled the panzer3 and 4s so bad that the germans had to make the tiger tank. and until then the german tanks were derped by a 152mm howitzer before air support arrived |

Oh man I love the KV-2!
There is a story that the russians had one on a hill, and none of the axis tanks could penetrate its armour, (probably panzer III or IVs) and the KV-2 just dropped shells on them. The germans had to bring in a Flak 88 just to kill it. On a relevant note, the KV-2s gun had zero penetration, but when you drop a 40kg HE shell on something, it tends to break it anyway. |
