Well, it could help them become a better person, I believe you only feel that way because it was never VERY significant.
For example, I used to be scared of the dark, I always was. BUT when I learned of Pinkie Pie's song about fears, I started singing it while plunging into darkness; I found myself at peace in the dark while singing that. |

Well, this show helped my sister and I stay close. I currently live on the other side of the planet from her, so it's hard to find much to discuss often, but with ponies, we chat every 2 weeks about funny clips and whatnot.
Also, the MLP characters are probably the first female characters in ANY medium that I felt that I could relate to. |

Just as with Anon761, I have a much improved mood these days. I used to be much more paranoid, uptight and angry due to my time in the service. Ponies have helped me overcome that with no external counseling or help. |
