I think the point of the contest result was more along the lines of "the quantity will always eventually sacrifice quality." How long before they became cider dealers for all the surrounding cities. Would they make a second squeezer? Why would they, it would cut into profits and eventually quality would drop so they could sell more. They just couldn't put the whole story there because a) it's a kid's show so they might not understand that full concept, so no reason to go that into depth and b) it's only a 22 minute show.
Having said that, the image is highly amusing and the Simpsons pic only enhanced it. |
