I don't know much about this blogger but I think that a lot of fans are desperate for someone to blame for what they percieve to be a shitstorm, and she's a convinient target. One person's blog would not convince Hasbro to censor the show, and on top of that the evidence of the show being censored is not compelling. iTunes might just be having a fluke right now, because Hasbro still streams the episode on the official site, but of course the fandom has to act as if the sky is falling.

I doubt the people in question are actually saying "you mad" or whatever. The whole point of this, at least from their point of view, was to rectify what they thought was a wrong and hurtful thing. It was, to our point of view, a mistaken impression, and had disappointing outcomes. But we get nowhere by mislabeling their intentions as deliberate antagonism.

First of all, what's with all the transphobia? I know we're mad at this person, but that's no reason to attack someone for gender identity. That's just low. And if it is a real, natural born woman, are we really gonna mock her for not holding up to our standards of attractiveness? Second, are we sure this is the person responsible or just the person we've decided to blame? Are we gonna go the internet stalker route and ruin the lives of everyone responsible for this? Third, would it not be better to engage in a positive letter writing campaign or the like, to raise our voices in unison against the vocal minority? Isn't that what this is all supposed to be about? Finally, are we sure that this isn't a temporary thing? I mean, it would suck if the episode was redubbed with "ditzy" instead of "derpy" and maybe a slightly more feminine voice since Tabitha St. Germain was apparently unclear on the gender. It would suck a whole lot more if the episode was permanently buried. A redubbing may be in the works and I personally would see that as a happy medium, and it would show that hasbro really is trying to please the community here. We should wait to see what happens and not act too rashly. Just send (POLITE) letters of (RESPECTFUL) support to hasbro, Tabitha, and everyone else involved and hope that this blows over. And yes, yes I fucking mad, but that doesn't mean we should abandon all pretense of civility.

How do insults of any type help our cause, much less insulting someone's appearance? Not that most people here seem to care, but if Hasbro were to look into this Derpy foofaraw, who do you think they'd be more likely to listen to: people who present their arguments and opinions respectfully, or people who insult the other side of the argument?

If someone just read Yamino's Deviant Art page or her blog, you can read that she only complained about the name Derpy on her blog, which was her own opinion. She find it funny some raging bronies think she has the power to let Hasbro stop Derpy. She also talked with someone about pictures of her misused for racist comments, so probably there is a troll who want to make a war between her and other bronies and find it very amusing if you make here fun of her. I sometimes read already things of her on her Sister Clair site and I have the idea this pic is very old and only used to keep the fire on. So stop the shit and make some nice threads again.

We know what an opinion is. She posted several blogs claiming her words as facts. Her little comic has like 40 fans or something like that. When someone who has a follower who has no life those people will take action for the douche who ranted to them. It's the same as when a celeb openly supports a candidate. It's just clear that she abused her fans, and she has no right to claim it's offensive when she's not even disabled herself. She's pissed off a lot of disabled people for her "You can't defend yourselves so I am doing it for you even though no one asked!" attitude and when anyone with a disability spoke up to her saying "I wasn't offended. I was refreshed to see a character that has a disability finally on a tv show" and Yamino just continues with her bullshit of "Shut up. It doesn't matter what you think. I'm a hero to the disabled! I'm the advocate of the disabled!". An opinion is nice to have, and if that was what she was doing there wouldn't be an issue. But the fact of the matter is she's feeding misinformation to a large crowd who are dumb enough to eat up every word she says, and instead of just apologizing for offending disabled people, and understanding she had no right to do so when no one asked her to she's just going to keep getting hate because she even now she taunts the people who are mad at her in her new blog posts. Flat out. I am disabled, and you know what? I personally don't want someone like Yamino representing us because all she did was make us look like whiny babies who need to be pampered all the time. You know what Derpy was doing for us? She was living a normal life with a normal job. THAT'S WHAT WE WANT. No one was calling her names because of her eyes. No one was hitting her even when she messed up a bit. Nothing. You know why? She was being accepted. We finally had a character who was disabled, popular, and LOVED. If Yamino's word was even a fraction of the hate that Hasbro got for Derpy then this girl is one of the very people who just set us back 10 years of progress. Who else is going to try to put a disabled character in a tv show now when something that's all about love, and acceptance got crap for doing it? No one. She's an advocate for the disabled? Hell no. She's the disables worse nightmare. If we had a vote held between all the disabled people with all knowledge that could be known about both sides of the issue NO ONE would vote to keep any connection to her. Hell. My friend who is a bit slow makes fun of her saying "I may be slow but at least I am not as dumb as Yamino!". She opened her mouth about something she knows nothing about provoking a LARGE crowd of people, and now she's acting like the victim? No. Her webcomic is insanely offensive to the Christian community. Her rants about disabled are insanely offensive to the disabled. Where the hell is her censor? Most importantly where are these people who are disabled that she claims are offended by Derpy? The only people who stepped forward who are disabled have DEFENDED Derpy. This girl need's to cut her stubborn attention seeking attitude, and man up. People who apologize when they were wrong are the only respectable people in this type of thing. Most of the Brony who left hate on her page actually went back, and apologized for their comments being over the top. Has Yamino apologized for anything? No. So anyone trying to defend her. Just please research the issue a bit. Look at her rants. Look at the misinformation she spreads. Even just looking at the sheer amount of spam marked messages she has. She doesn't block the rage filled ones because those only make her look like a victim but you can tell she get's told off by intelligent posts that disprove her so she blocks them, and hides their post. /Endofstory

xD Takashi! Glad you liked it. I didn't honestly feel like I typed all that much but BAM. It's a giant block. I would post it on Yamino's page but I already posted "I am disabled, and I didn't find Derpy offensive... Check youtube. There's lots of us speaking on Derpy's behalf. Where are the offended disabled? Do they not have the internet?" and so she marked it as spam, and blocked me. Anyone who makes her look stupid get's blocked, and the comment hidden. The only one's she's keeping are threats so she can make it look like she's only getting unintelligent comments, and threats... She's even gone as far as posted a private message she got from Amy Rogers because she went, and cried to her claiming she was just trying to be an advocate, and how she's innocent but being attacked by the Brony... *Sigh* More bad news though is Yamino is on the MLP game project made by fans which from what she's announced she threw a fit telling them she'd leave the project if they had Derpy in it... Honestly if she's offended by Derpy on the show that's one thing but it seems more like she clearly just hates Derpy...
