You know, I don't mind the references too much...but there has to be a point where they start really making their own thing. I mean, this show can do anything it wants and be awesome, so why just make references to everything else?
Case in point, the Samurai Jack episode: Jack and the Flying Prince and Princess. This was a complete carbon copy of Star Wars IV and it just bored me to death. |

And Star Wars is a copy of other old movies like The Flying Fortress and whatnot, so I don't get what you want to say. References to other works are cool. |
