You know...I think the newer fans of the show are complaining about this. I started watching back in late June, but I was fully aware of the Derpy phenomenon about a month into watching the show. Derpy may not be my favorite background character (Lyra be it) I don't think she deserves this hate she is getting.
To reiterate, I personally think newer fans of the show believe it to be offensive. |

Look at it this way, Derpy and Ditzy practically mean the same thing, so if you guys find Derpy offensive you have no choice but to find Ditzy offensive as well. |

The complaints are completely NULL and need to be laughed at.
Fine, I understand if you're upset that this Derpy doesn't match the one in your head, but don't give me this white knight BS that Derpy is suddenly the worst thing ever and a hate crime. I never saw you guys mobilize for Snails, but the second a fan favorite character shows minor traits we've seen far worse in an existing character on the same show, I can't help but feel some manipulation to get what you want. |

I see a huge difference!
one of these things is not like the other, one of these is meant for little girls. Different people watch different shows. Parents of young kids don't want their kids exposed to (what the parents believe to be) offensive material. All the other shows listed are geared towards an older, male audience. |
