This may be a sign of Hasbro finally starting to get it.
Some day in the next year or so, we may stealthily peruse the "girls aisle" in a big-box store (you, know, "for my niece"), and instead of seeing piles of Teeloves and Ploomettes that nobody wants, find plastic versions of Derpy, Trixie, and WhomeverThisIs (assuming there's any left after the "you know, for my niece" stampede). |

I don't want Hasbro to replace all the toy ponies with cartoon ponies. The cartoon is an advertisement - they can make some ponies into toys but they still need to keep making new ponies too. |
