Well in order to spread the virus, zombies need to bite their prey. Sometimes the infected victim doesn't pull away and gets partially eaten before being reanimated. Some uninfected ponies may have also tried to attack them, and we all know zombies don't heal. Don't ask me why Apple Bloom has nails in her head and eyeball. |
