Actually, you can but you're not really looking for a relationship, you're just after a status symbol (or sex.) But yeah, I agree its BS. If you want your marriage to be meaningful or have an enjoyable relationship with your GF, you've got to be friends. |

I hate the friend-zone concept, it makes a guy sounds really shallow. If you leave a girl because she friend-zoned you, that implies you were friends just because you thought if you waited long enough, she'd be your girlfriend. |

^ I hate it for the exact opposite reasons. You try your best to be a nice guy to her and make sure she knows you think of her that way, she abuses all your favors and stuff then says she just wants to be your friend. Then you stop spending so much time with her because it hurts and because you must spend time trying to find a girlfriend, and she thinks you just wanted to get into her panties. |
