^I thought about that. I could imagine a full episode converted to the .gif format (with text and captions added in) would be absolutely massive, possibly too massive to even play. |

A GIF of a full episode would definitely be too massive, especially considering Ponibooru's upload limit.
Working with Beats of Rage and its cutscene system (it uses .gifs), a few seconds of a low-res 360p episode of MST3K, around 10,000 frames, is ~250 MB, well over the 8 MB upload limit. That's not even considering some of the optimizations you can make to a .gif - but I doubt that would matter anyhow. If you want to put up with the tedium of uploading bits and pieces of an episode in .gif form, be my guest, but as far as I'm concerned, we're honestly better off doing little scenes like this. :p |

^Well, I was thinking for more personal use. As odd as it sounds, I do have need for the episodes to be converted to .gif format. I have no doubt I could do it, but it's still the point that if it'd even be possible without it being in some hundreds of different completed .gif files for just one episode. |
