Basically it's one of the most popular webcomics in the entirety of the internet. It's about a group of kids who play a game that, while destroying their home planet, teleports them to another world where they basically act out a video game, like Spike Pilgrim and The Sims and Earthbound all mashed together.
The kids screw up while doing this however, and make one of the bosses unbeatable. Meanwhile, another group of kids, a group of aliens called trolls, have already played and completed the game, and were able to create another universe in the process (your reward for beating the game and also to make up for the whole "destroying your planet" deal.), but were kept from entering that universe by the same final boss that the Earth kids accidentally made. There's so much else that goes on in this story but that's the super-stripped down version. |
