My recommendations, which are worth exactly what you paid for them:
1) Ignore racist trolls in the comments. 2) Post more humanized ponies of non-WASP persuasion. 3) Post mixed-race humanized shipping. Normally I try to apply the golden rule even to jerks, but having grown up in the deep South I have a bone to pick with racists. |

Every once in a while ponibooru goes through a state of shitstorms, where they reoccur in as many images that people can relate to them.
Although me and the others that post a fuckload of images and gifs are usually able to defuse one time shitstorms, its the ones that reoccur that we have no control over (just like everyone else). I think the first one I was around for way back when was the 'shit OC topic', I got heavily involved but I regret it to this day. Since then I've seen reoccuring shitstorms on furries, racism, vore, scat, foalcon, pynky py, cartoonlion, ponychan, what deems as questionable explicit and safe, wesdaaman, that one anon that hates JJ, etc. etc. The main thing is, they are a passing thing. They at most last a week then they just stop appearing on images. Its been ages since i've seen a proper shitstorm on the above examples, including racism. They really are a passing thing. And when they pass the sun will shine out brighter. If you want help on what to do for a shitstorm, refer to my guide. |
