I think that was the point, the librarian read it to our class as part of some motivational "get kids to read week" or something like that. It has the main character getting bitten by a vampire who sucks the words out of books and has ink pens for fangs. The kid gets hungry for books and starts sucking out some books and gets absorbed in the fantastical adventures reading can bring. |
