If you can't handle the inherently contradictory nature of using violence when necessary to affirm your belief in the worth of human life and freedom and how those very beliefs necessitate that you be nonviolent, then maybe you shouldn't be killing people.
Or, if you prefer, if knowing that the people you're killing are truly people would prevent you from killing them, you've no business killing people. |
