I guess to be more helpful I can say, from body to hoof, there are three joints: shoulder, elbow, wrist. (I dont know if those are the actual pony terms but you get the idea). At each joint, the "arm" inverts direction sort of. So it the pose of this pony, from shoulder to elbow the arm goes down, from elbow to wrist it goes up, and from wrist to hoof it goes down.
Doesn't really matter though, considering they frequently leave out some or all of the joints on the actual show. I'm just kinda a stickler for consistent anatomy - even cartoon anatomy. And in general it can make your characters look more dynamic and less "stiff" |
