While I do love my .gifs and .jpegs,
this needs to be an option. That is.... if it's okay with you..... nwm. |
| ZePassionateOne #941138 5 months ago |
Well..there is always plugins to block specific images or from specific sites, so you can always do that. |
| Saufsoldat #941141 5 months ago |
You can filter pictures and you don't have to click a picture if it has a high res. Am I missing something here? |
| Saufsoldat #941142 5 months ago |
Oh wait, it's about the comments. Yeah, that's a good idea for people with slower connection. |
| Gittonsxv #941146 5 months ago |
true, if i ever find something i find nasty i block that shit xD |
| Anonymous #941152 5 months ago |
They could enable a "hide comments" function by defeault, that oughta solve your issues...
and second, they aren't listening to you, they are reading to you. |

P0ny_News here.
The main thing bothering me is OP's picture. It says "they slow my entire computer". The "my" part is annoying, because, basically, it means that OP only wants that for his own ass. That's not a petition, that's just some egotist demand some dude asks because HIS computer is slow. I hereby demand that this picture be deleted, and replaced by "they slow down some users". In that way, that won't look like OP is a cheapass too poor to buy a decent computer. |
| Shaky #941161 5 months ago |
Eh, It hasn't been THAT bad, besides, we already have the tag "explicit_comments". |
| DeeperMadness #941163 5 months ago |
So, what would work better: an option that lets you favourite/vote up an image from the thumbnail, or an option underneath each thumbnail that takes you to an image only version of said picture?
I'm guessing you mean something like that. |

@941159
No one should have to suffer regardless of what kind of computer they have. |
| Anonymous #941211 5 months ago |
One question please:
Why use plural when only Eco partiallyexists. |
| JP #941242 5 months ago |
The entire comments section is in a div called "Commentsmain". So write a custom CSS rule to hide every IMG element in there. You will still see comments, but images will be gone. Or use some custom JavaScript to make comment images click/expand if you really want to see them. |
| DarkJester #941263 5 months ago |
JP care to share how to do so? |
| Anonymous #941270 5 months ago |
#941202
Buy a better computer. You'll suffer less. And, for Hell's sake, change your picture or something, because it really looks like you're asking that for your own ass. |
| JP #941271 5 months ago |
AdBlock-tested, quickly tested but seems to work, hides images in comments but leaves everything else intact:
ponibooru.org###Commentsmain img Generic CSS, untested, but should work (add browser-specific domain rules (like -moz-domain, etc.) at start if wanted): #Commentsmain img { display: none; } |
| DarkJester #941279 5 months ago |
You have no idea what kind of computer I have. You're just making assumptions. |
| Theopticals #941379 5 months ago |
Eh. What else is on?

Maroon Bunyip is the biggest perpetrator of large images and animated gifs - especially in threads he considers shitstorms. |

You're obviously BLACK, POOR, IRISH, HOMOSEXUAL, JEW, and HATLESS. Otherwise you wouldn't be obsessed by your own ass. |
| BattleGT #941648 5 months ago |
Could there be an option to hide comments? |
| Anonymous #942158 5 months ago |
This would be an excellent feature. |
