The background ponies' positions in these two shots (and the shot that precedes them) are pretty consistent, so different characters is less likely.
For what it's worth, she was a Blank Flank in an earlier shot as well as in previous episodes. |

i have an idea, maybe there is a "cutie cold" which is like the cutie pox but causes your cutie mark to jump around to different things now and again, it wears off in a few days, like a cold :D i love coming up with ideas :3 |
