@TheEpicHill Just because it says that it's "side-effects" doesn't mean that it's necessarily a medical side-effect. Seeing somepony depressed because you think that two others would make a better couple would definitely count as a side-effect in my book.

Same can probably be said here. No, Mac would never be with one of the mane six. It would cause too much feuding and jealousy, and it would be unfair to the other 5 to have a significant other. Not to mention, none of them have ever shown an interest in him, or vice versa. A romance involving the mane six has no purpose in a show targeted at young girls, either. Mac is a side character, and he needs to be paired with a side character. |

I apologize, but that was incredibly rude. I'm 942039, by the way, and I'm not saying that there is ANY truth to this post -- hell, I basically said that, in all likelihood, it's just a troll or shenanigans and that we'll see it proven wrong -- but I was making a point about denying it based on the idea of a "side-effect." Let me state this again just so everypony is clear on what I'm saying: Post is bullshit, but it's bullshit for different reasons. AND ALSO. All ships are complete bullshit when you look at it from an objective standpoint. What little sense one can make from it is usually put through shipping goggles before viewing. It's all in good fun! Besides, shouldn't we be a little more TOLERANT of other peoples' preferences when dealing with shipping? Who's being hurt by the nonsense anyways? Besides, it's more fun to watch people get all up in a tizzy over shit like this than it is to snark at them, in my book. |
