I want to try Five Guys so bad, I hear they're really good. |
| Crobarity #934576 5 months ago |
You do know that their Cider was good before they turned off the quality control? You see Granny Smith like it in the song. |
| MagnumPony #934579 5 months ago |
They are really worth a try |

Dammit! Now I want Five Guys and they're closed! |
| Gentle_Coltte_of_Leisure #934590 5 months ago |
Oh, don't even get me started. Five Guys is incredible, no doubt about it.
Thing is, though, my brother's got a peanut allergy so I can't take him anywhere near it. |

^ That stinks I went to Five Guys and didn't get all the hype though I take that over Mickey D's any day of the week |

I haven't been to one since summer vacation.
In Georgia (which I live in California). It's depressing seeing FG pics :( |
| SorasTG #934614 5 months ago |
Ironically I've yet to see a Five Guys with just five guys working in it. |
| Anonymous #934622 5 months ago |
They give WAY too much french fries at Five Guys. Seriously. You'll fucking die if you try to eat them all. |
| hooligan #934626 5 months ago |
Man, now I need to go try 5 Guys. I've seen one around my town, and I'm in SoCal. |

As the episode showed, there's nothing wrong with innovation, technology, advancement or efficiency.
It's just that oftentimes people sacrifice quality in favor of quantity in order to increase profit. |

Five Guys is pretty expensive for a burger place. If I want a quality burger, I'd go to In-N-Out myself. |
| mr_x #934698 5 months ago |
Five Guys is expensive, but worth it, if you don't count it on the same level as say McDonalds. No In-N-Out on the East Coast, I hear they're good too. |
| Anonymous #934721 5 months ago |
There's a 5 Guys in San Jose, CA. Good burgers, made how you want them. Only problem with their fries is they give you so many! Way more than I can eat!
In-N-Out is way overrated. |
| Cerulean #934729 5 months ago |
@Crobarity: And I imagine McDonald's served pretty good hamburgers back in 1955. |
| Anonymous #934963 5 months ago |
lol implying that five-guys is quality food |
| RHF #935064 5 months ago |
Got plenty here in Minnesota.
I love their Cajun fries |
| MonkeyKing #935468 5 months ago |
I tried Five Guys once.
The bun soaked through with grease, and I ended with a soggy wad of burger and onions. At least a quarter pounder with cheese stays in burger shape while you're eating it. |

^ Five Guys in MN? I call shenanigans. I've never seen one in the metro. |
| Anonymous #935553 5 months ago |
Had Five Guys last night. Not bad. |
| FeralSocks018 #935636 5 months ago |
I've never been to Five Guys. There's only ten in Colorado. Besides, as much as everyone complains, I really have no problem with McDonald's food. |
| CrazedGeek #935714 5 months ago |
Eh, not a big fan of their burgers -- there are a couple local joints that make much better burgers. Not bad at all, though. |
| Anonymous #935762 5 months ago |
The weird thing is that when I walk into a Five Guys, it's slathered in posters and graphics telling me how awesome they are.
Every time I see those, I just can't help but see that the place is the Trixie of burger joints. |

They remodeled the nearby McD's. THey got rid of everything that made it a nice place to stay - the video games, the little playground. Turns out is they'd rather have higher pass-through traffic than be a tourist trap. It gives them a little more at the end of the day. Only in places near freeways, though. Won't matter elsewhere. |

I didn't understand the pic at first but I'm checking this out late at night.
And there's a fast food place called In 'n' Out? Wow, I have a song by that title in my iTunes by The Mummies. |

It's funny because McDonalds was the first restaurant to incorporate the Speedee Service System, which was basically the application of an assembly line structure to food preparation. That's why older fast-food franchises like Carl's Jr. take forever to prepare an order, because they eschew the system in favor of maintaining quality. |
