You do know that their Cider was good before they turned off the quality control? You see Granny Smith like it in the song.

Oh, don't even get me started. Five Guys is incredible, no doubt about it.

Thing is, though, my brother's got a peanut allergy so I can't take him anywhere near it.

I haven't been to one since summer vacation.

In Georgia (which I live in California). It's depressing seeing FG pics :(

Ironically I've yet to see a Five Guys with just five guys working in it.

They give WAY too much french fries at Five Guys. Seriously. You'll fucking die if you try to eat them all.

Man, now I need to go try 5 Guys. I've seen one around my town, and I'm in SoCal.

As the episode showed, there's nothing wrong with innovation, technology, advancement or efficiency.

It's just that oftentimes people sacrifice quality in favor of quantity in order to increase profit.

Five Guys is pretty expensive for a burger place. If I want a quality burger, I'd go to In-N-Out myself.

Five Guys is expensive, but worth it, if you don't count it on the same level as say McDonalds. No In-N-Out on the East Coast, I hear they're good too.

There's a 5 Guys in San Jose, CA. Good burgers, made how you want them. Only problem with their fries is they give you so many! Way more than I can eat!

In-N-Out is way overrated.

@Crobarity: And I imagine McDonald's served pretty good hamburgers back in 1955.

Got plenty here in Minnesota.

I love their Cajun fries

I tried Five Guys once.

The bun soaked through with grease, and I ended with a soggy wad of burger and onions. At least a quarter pounder with cheese stays in burger shape while you're eating it.

I've never been to Five Guys. There's only ten in Colorado. Besides, as much as everyone complains, I really have no problem with McDonald's food.

Eh, not a big fan of their burgers -- there are a couple local joints that make much better burgers. Not bad at all, though.

The weird thing is that when I walk into a Five Guys, it's slathered in posters and graphics telling me how awesome they are.

Every time I see those, I just can't help but see that the place is the Trixie of burger joints.

They remodeled the nearby McD's. THey got rid of everything that made it a nice place to stay - the video games, the little playground. Turns out is they'd rather have higher pass-through traffic than be a tourist trap. It gives them a little more at the end of the day. Only in places near freeways, though. Won't matter elsewhere.

I didn't understand the pic at first but I'm checking this out late at night.

And there's a fast food place called In 'n' Out? Wow, I have a song by that title in my iTunes by The Mummies.

It's funny because McDonalds was the first restaurant to incorporate the Speedee Service System, which was basically the application of an assembly line structure to food preparation. That's why older fast-food franchises like Carl's Jr. take forever to prepare an order, because they eschew the system in favor of maintaining quality.
