Rainbow Dash loves this cider but only has two bits to buy with. Either RD doesn't make a lot of money or she isn't good at hanging onto it when she gets it.

The Wonderbolt tickets on the other hoof, are something she would probably have to actually buy. And she probably does, we know she has a job. She just probably doesn't have a lot of money left over afterwards, like a person with a job who is doesn't know to save up any money and is living paycheck to paycheck. Heck, she breaks so many windows, she probably is poor just from paying for those. |

@achro While Rainbow Dash would be able to get the materials for her cloud home by collecting clouds while clearing the sky instead of busting them up, she still would have to put time and effort into sculpting it into such a nice shape, or pay some pony else to do so. Also she would have to pay for any of the non-cloud portions of her home, like the rainbow pools.
Though she might not get much money anyway. Her job on the weather team seems to be clean-up as just about everytime we see her doing work for the weather team or her work is mentioned, it has to do with clearing the clouds out of the skies. |
