Toady absolutely refuses to FIX THE SHIT. He's now in his second year of making updates that nobody cares about, and making them only for himself (last update was march 28, 2010). Unfixed bugs + FPS drain + closed source + no multicore support = fuck you, Toady. It's complicated and it's fucked up, but when you start knowing everything that's just wrong with the game, the fun (and even the Fun) loses its edge. |
