Also, should have been Kingdom of Equestria, I'd think. Unless Equestria is made of multiple kingdoms (like ancient/mythical Greece, IIRC -- I think Ulysses was a king), and Ponyville simply happens to be in the one called Canterlot. Anyway, a princess rules over a kingdom. Patriarchal English. |

The only reason those darn fool Apples were left in business was because Flim and Flam got overconfident and made a literal STRING of mistakes. Letting the Apples get extra help. Overclocking the machine. Shutting down the quality control. Even then they could have still won-- if they'd just sold the good barrels they'd made FIRST.
Heck, even if they had stayed the course and flat lost, they could still screw the Apples over. Just set up just outside of Ponyville and sell cheap cider to Applejack's thirsty, unsatisfied customers. |
