Here is a thing I want to try if Ponibooru is up to it. I make a lot of texty meta images so I figure maybe it could be a "thing" instead of just random.

So I was wondering if maybe people would like to explain their OCs? It's kinda hard without a proper mode of discussion (People won't even see this image unless they search "discussion" or happen to click on it while browsing) but it might be interesting, so yeah, why not try it out?

Let's see what happens.

When I imagine stuff for my Ponibooru story, I've got a white coat, shortish red hair and tail, sometimes glasses and a star cutie mark with a red "ZX" in it. Earth pony.

My OC is named Fuzzy Logic. His Cutie Mark is a Plumbob from The Sims.

I also own a Sims 3 Content blog by the same name.

3. I tend to overthink things and the concept of Fuzzy Logic applies to that. Fuzzy Logic is if/and/or etc logic in a system, instead of a simpler yes/no system.

Fuzzy is a bigger pony, Big Macintosh size just about, but thinner than big mac. He wears a yoke that is actually supposed to be a giant gemstone, but I keep forgetting to tell people that when they draw him.

His special talent is gemstones. He's good at finding them (despite being an earth pony), cutting them (despite...not having...fingers), and using magic contained inside them. Kind of like enchantments. Earth ponies have a special connection with the earth, and I have taken that to mean that they can probably unlock powers of gemstones just like a unicorn could. A more limited form of magic, I guess. This is because

1. Gemstones are fucking awesome
2. Sims have "Plumbobs" over their heads, which are a gemstone
3. I love enchantments and customization like that in video games
4. The Sims Makin' Magic had enchanted gemstones that any sim- magic or otherwise- could use to do various things. I like that idea of USABLE magic even for non-magic-users.

So yeah.

Also he stores things in his hair.

I don't really have one either. However, according to the upcoming Ponibooru saga, I'm a pegasus. That's about all I know, other than the fact I'm susceptible to blows to the back of the head. I think I have a dark green coat colour with a grey mane, but I'm not sure if I read that or if I just imagined it. Almost certainly the latter. :P

I'll have to speak with the author. I might be electric pink for all I know.

Sims 3 doesn't work so well for me, it's slow on my computer, so I use the 2nd one.

Tallent: Stargazer should be obvious, specifies in Summoning magic ( Summoner's have always been my favorite magic style since early FF games )
Quirks: Is generally active at night, has a tendency to just crash where ever. When disturbed during his sleeping times he tends to have a grumpy nature ( outside of that he's usually pretty nice ). Generally keeps to himself and has difficulties asking for help but enjoys helping when help is needed. Generally likes to keep things simple when he can.

Just some things I've kind of tossed together over time after first creating him. I drew a picture some time ago to help picture out his design.

Wears a lab coat most times and always has his goggles(has band to hang them on his neck).
Basic "mad scientist" but is completly sane, not out to do anything other then his experaments.
Specialized in magic/tech hybrd or "magitek", also cloning.
Very fun loving, not one to make sense in some cases.
Get's angry if compared to the "evil" mad scientists as he does most of his work for good.
Has a bad habit of geting destacted by "research"(study devices, get samples for cloning, ect.)
Works for Ms. Sparkle and by extent the princesses of Equestria.

Name: Ripple Shine

Species: Unicorn

Description: White coat with black mane and tale (each is tied into a single braid) Ice blue eyes, standard male pony frame.

Cutie mark: Three yellow-gold rings moving outward (Like a ripple, hurf durf)

Quirks: sometimes canters in place, talks/sings to himself when he thinks no one is looking/in earshot.

Personality: Pretty easy-going, actually; has problems with authority figures, but only if they use their authority in place of leadership skills

Talent: Casting Illusion spells (but there are limits to what kind of illusions he can create)

What OC says about me: Nothing. He's a figment of my imagination, so he can't speak.

I'm thinking about a story involving him training to become a royal guard, but IDK, just spit balling. Feel free to give criticism.

Sometimes, I write fanfics. And since I don't want to kill a canon pony in some horrible fashion, I tend to use OCs instead.
And I never made an "OC of me" as you said. They're not good characters for fanfics.

TO be far Fuzzy, for some people when that make an OC that base it of a part of themselves, mine is based of myself but with exaggerations, for one I am in collage studying computer networking, for my OC/ponysona I extend that to all tech as it's not a common thing in the pony world, and as I love the combination of magic with tech that's in some fiction, so the magitek part.

I know some people make their OC's based on what they WANT to be, and then there are ones who make them based on how they honestly see themselves. That's what I tried to do.

But, for example, I know one girl in RL who made her OC have anime-styled scenehair and is incredibly Sue-ish (gets all the stallions). But in real life she's awkward, shy, and dare I say, never had a date in her life.

^ I know what you mean, apart for the mad scientist bit and who he works for, everything about my OC/ponysona is base on the real me, I get destacted by things I want to know more about, i understand women far more then most guys and get mistaken for being gay, and I do tend take it bad when people act in a way like I am, but I have a lot of friends that are gay, but as I said I did exaggerate on some of it.
