There's an age of competence. Whatever that age range is, it is clear that Bloom hasn't reached, Smith is long since past it, and Mac is doing all he can remembering he exists in the show, leaving Applejack the only one to actually take responsiblity for anything. |

Assuming Flim and Flam really could get their own supply of apples this might have been better than trying to complete with them long term, but then they may have just been blowing smoke with that claim. |
