I really tried to make this list unbiased, my favorite pony is Fluttershy btw.
To make a few things clear, in case some of you can't figure out on their own. Why is Twilight's Magic so much more powerful than Rarity's? Well, Rarity's Magic is only strong enough to lift light objects like pillows or a hair brush. Twilight has got powerful Magic skills, like she lifted a 20 meter tall water tank and can let rocks hover/flood in the air. She is even able to build her own defence bubble around herself like a shield. Fluttershy is a very timid pony, she isn't made for fighting and honestly I think she wouldn't be able to hurt anypony. Pinkie Pie mostly remains a secret to me but her Pinkie Sense is a good defensive bonus to Durability. Applejack is of course the strongest Pony on the ground and can take the most punishment. You can even see, she would have won by normal abilities, if it wasn't for the special abilities like Twi's Magic, Rainbow's Nuke and Pinkie's randomness. I don't think Dash's rainboom Nuke as figthing bonus is overestimated, it can be very devastating, seeing how she destroyed an entire barn in less than 10 secs flat. Whadda ya'll think? |

Dash can survive the direct impact of a Rainboom Nuke. And Twilight can apparently survive getting a piano dropped on her while having several broken limbs. |

Rarity's magic fighting skills are better than that; she just doesn't show them off because she thinks fighting is beneath her. Her telekinesis is nearly as powerful as Twilight's and she appears to be more skilled in using it. We've seen her handle multiple objects with it simultaneously; if she were forced to use actual weapons with it she'd be a fearsome opponent. |

#931445 I dunno, we have never seen her lifting heavy or multiple things at once with her magic like twi did, maybe she's got more than we think, but we don't know for sure. sry :(

Rainbow Dash has never deployed the Rainboom in combat, and I'm not sure it would be a viable attack, even if she COULD do it at will.
Twilight is actually fairly weak willed. Sure, she was the last to be corrupted by Discord, but he never even TRIED to corrupt her. Actually, she's the only person to corrupt HERSELF. That's just sad. Fluttershy on the other hand... Rarity has, on several occasions, shown great martial arts skill. I don't think that her magic would actually enhance her physical ability at all. She kicks ass just fine without it. Pinkie Pie and durability. She never really gets hit by anything, so it's difficult to gauge in terms of resistance. However, as a measure of stamina, she SUCKS. There are many instances where she has become fatigued through minor actions ... like singing a little too hard. Flutterhy's speed stat should have a gray bar for "Flutterrage". Her "normal" speed is pretty abysmal. (but her willpower is HUGE) |

About Fluttershys speed: She's caught up with Rainbow while pulling an air-balloon in. And she was the other pony to pull the wagon alongside RD when they were chasing Applejack in The Last Roundup. |

Not only did Fluttershy help RD pull the cart, but she also kept with with RD when they saved Rarity in Secret of Excess. HOWEVER, she is also described as the weakest flier in Cloudsdale and has said that she "can only lift a few bunnies at most". So, she's an incredibly WEAK but FAST flier?! She has a high top speed but no torque?! |

How does Flutterrage enhance her speed? When Fluttershy tried to keep up with Dash's speed, to catch her, she was not being corrupted anymore, and she even dragged the baloon with two ponies onboard behind her. Magic (thelikinesis) is a huge adventage when used correctly, even if Rary only used it to throw pillows at AJ, but maybe (if) she can lift heaviert hings and has control over her magic like Twi does, then it would definitely affect her physical ability <- correct this time! RD did use the R.B.N in combat, not against ponies, but she raped a whole building with it :D It's super effective! But might lower Twi's willpower |

On Fluttershy's speed; She only managed to actually catch up to Rainbow Dash when Rainbow was being dragged down by two ponies. Yeah, Flutter was pulling the balloon with Applejack and Twilight, but the balloon had its own buoyancy, which took away a lot of that additional weight. Pinkie Pie and Rarity were literal dead weight, dragging Rainbow down, whereas the balloon was much easier to pull. She's not as fast as Rainbow in any respect. |

True. And Fluttershy keeping up with Rainbow in secrets of my excess doesn't really prove anything since RD could have been lowering her speed to allow Fluttershy to keep up. But(!) RD and Fluttershy are at least fast enough to pull a small wagon with 3 ponies as fast as 4 stallions pulling a large wagon with 1 pony. |

Let's see:
I think the gap in intelligence between Twi and the others shouldn't be that big (she Is smart but come on, she has more intelligence than RD, AJ and Flutters combined) Twi's and Flutter's willpower should be closer, they snapped over small stuff (Pinkie is excused because her reason is more believable, and her crazyness wasn't as intense) Rarity can lift a lot of objects at the same time (including stuff like mannequins and pieces of fabric), and Sisterhooves Social showed that she has good athletic skills (enough to easily pass off as AJ and almost win 1st place), so a little boost on strength and speed would be enough. Flutters's speed could work like that grey bonus system. Average when normal and near RD's level when angry/determined. Lastly, I don't think her Flutterrage gave her any fighting skills, she just went crazy. |

Fluttershy can only fly well when Friendship is under immediate threat. We have seen this again and again. It's all psychological with her. If she has a chance to overthink it, she is weak and uncoordinated. |

@612. So, your saying that the Rainboom would be effective in battle because it was able to deliver the finishing blow to an already mostly destroyed stationary object!? That technique has never been shown to have combat capabilities.
Think of it like this. Train two boxers. One of them focuses ONLY on strength and power. The other focuses less on power, but also trains for skill and technique. Who wins? |

*sigh* The point is that "fighting ability" is a derived stat. It's not directly and easily measurable like strength and speed. If somebody is capable of picking up 100 lbs, then that can be shown as a measure of their ability. However, even if somebody could pick up 1000 lbs, that wouldn't mean that they would win in a fight with the first guy. Raw speed/power/whatever are not the final arbiters of fighting ability. It's the application of those abilities that is most important.
We have no evidence that the Sonic Rainbow has been or can be applied to a martial situation. A haymaker might be powerful, but it's not often used by competent fighters because of it's drawbacks. |

I'm making UMvsC3 bios for as many ponies as I can, so I know how this grid works. I have a few questions with this though, in no particular order.
1. I would see Applejack's strength as a 4 at most. She is by far the strongest of her friends, but I don't see her able to lift up to 100 tons. 2. Twilight is smart, but is she a "super-genius"? I would have her one or two lower. 3. Pinkie is a mystery in all areas so you got me there. 4. Rainbow is a black belt in karate (Not to mention all of the tricks she knows), so that would earn a 5 for fighting ability. 5. Teleportation is an automatic 7 for speed. (I don't make these rules.) So Twilight's speed should be so, or at the very least up to it in gray. 6. There is nothing above 7 in these power grids, no matter how powerful. Even the Sonic Rainboom can't reach light speed. 7. In general, I don't think moments of anger or adrenaline rush should be accounted for (such as Fluttershy). Once I get to posting the custom bios I made, you'll know what I'm talking about. However, my guess is STILL just as good as anyone's... |

^ I don't know about teleport... does it really count as speed? i mean, yeah in a race she will most likely arrive at the target location faster than any pony else, but she isn't moving, just teleporting. hmm. but in a fight that's irrelevant i suppose. I'd rather think the teleportation is a bonus to Durability and figthing skills, because she can evade attacks and quick counterattack from different loactions.
2. I already lowered Twi's intelligence in the update, turns out I overdid it. Now people are complaining it's too low xD Gah. 6. I wanted to illustrate the huge amound of differece between a Sonic speed compared to normal flying velocity. I suppose Sonic Rainboom is the equivalent of breaking the sonic barrier? So even if I would place Sonic Speed at 7 the normal speed must be below 1 for a fair comparison... So I enlarged the bar "a little" lol 4. I don't know about RD and black belt in karate... she is only showing off and bragging, and when she comes to action she either crashes at signs or cliffs lol. |

This doesn't take into account that unicorn magic shuts down Sonic Rainbooms.
Nothing really matters here because with unicorn magic, Twilight and Rarity pretty much hold everyone else still (like how Twilight held Rainbow still in Lesson Zero to prevent her from busting the barn). The way it should go is Twilight>Rarity>the rest. That's where you have to find technicalities. Also, the Fluttershy bias really is showing. "Big dumb meany" and "Flutterrage" were circumstantial as hell. |

You forgot about twilight's 'glowing eyes magic overload'. If that happened then every one would be fuc*ed ten times around, including RD, so add 20 to twi's fighting skills. The SONIC rain BOOM can't out run a LIGHTning bolt (light travels faster than sound). Annnnd maybe twi could use magic to, oh, I dunno, TELEPORT!? Also twi is a genius so keep that. The Rain nuke is not that great, all it did was BREAK a OLD, CREAKY, READY-TO-BREAK-BY-ITSELF barn! So in a REAL fight, Twi would beat RD so bad her hair would go mono (one-colored). |
