even in season 1, scootaloo didnt really have her own episode, only like 2 episodes but it was mostly on the CMC! even appleboom and Sweete Belle had their own ep back then, and more so this season,

Eh, it's a mixed bag.
On the one hand, she's had some bad moments. On the other hand, they showed she's not just good - she's superhero level good, she got to do a ton of genuinely awesome stuff, and she didn't even lose her mind as hard as some of the others. Let's just wait until after Read It And Weep before judging. |

RAINBOW DASH HAS THE MOST ISSUES!!!
I thought that was made obvious when Discord gave her a more cruel illusion then any other of the cast. She is a troublemaker, never a true asshole, but she is an egoist at times due to compensate her own lack of self confidence. She is tough as diamonds, extremely protective of her friends, and she heroically saves people without thinking about it(it was only in one ooc episode that her need for attention collided with her heroism) If you've noticed, many of the recent episodes have shown that Dash has a SEVERE problem....Rainbow Dash has a near DEATHLY fear of being alone and/or unappreciated. Think about it. The 'jock' has the most dimensions to her personality out of all of them. |

I love all the ponies.
But most episodes revolving around Dash this season just serve to humble her or make her the butt monkey to some degree. That is an aspect of her character, sure, to be something a competitive egoist, but she's genuinely brave and heroic, and I want to see more of that. Also, the amount of episodes a pony gets is a stupid metric for anything. |

I thought the fact that her friends didn't even bother confronting her and skipped straight to the public humiliation was cruel. That episode was whack. Yeah, I'd brag about being awesome and saving lives too. And really, by introducing Mare Do Well they made things even worse, with Dash trying to assist with more and more trivial things.

I don't see how RD was selfish this episode. She just wanted, for once since years, to have a share of the cider. Cider Pinkie keeps hogging with her Pinkie sense.
It's very revealing I think that Dash actually thought to bring Fluttershy along and wake her up early so she can get a cup as well. Dash even lets her have the position in front of her in the row. Ironically the position that gets the last cup. And she could have probably bullied Fluttershy into giving up her cup for Dash. Did that thought even cross her mind? Nope. |

^What he said. So many people are talking crap about Dash and are not acknowledging the good things she has done.
The Last Roundup had some really good characterisation of Dash that showed her positive traits. Sure she was damn aggressive in that ep too, but you'd be cranky too if you were fast enough to probably fly all over Equestria in a fraction of the time it takes to do just that via train. |
