the bullets are way too small, those look like .22 rounds when they should be like .44. the cylinder is way too big for those |

I must sadly concur with zzzrekir.
Look to the left of the gun being loaded; see those two horizontal lines next to each other? Those are the rear sights. The front sight is at the very end of the barrel, dead center. To be able to shoot accurately, you have to be able to line those up with your eyeball and the target while your trigger manipulator (finger for us, tongue for Littlepip) is on the trigger. If that IS a bite handle, as Dark_Horst says, then either Littlepip is getting smacked with that hammer between her eyes every time she fires- which puts the sights out-of-line with either eye- or the barrel is sticking out to the side, with the sights sitting uselessly on the far edge from the handle. Either way, they're useless for a jaw-handled firearm, but in standard position for a HANDgun. In other words, this "Little Macintosh" is likelier a Diamond Dog or human-type weapon than a pony gun. Note: This post assumes that human weapons design is anything remotely like pony weapons design, or that aiming is done similarly. This is not certain. Also, Littlepip has SATS and her Pipbuck to help her shoot. |

Hey everypony, this is the artist Cosmic! Taking your critique into consideration, I really had no fucking clue what I was doing with the gun or how to modify gun mechanics for pony use so I just took a .44 magnum pic from google images and heavily referenced it for the pic. I figured since she uses telepathy to fire her weapons (if memory served correctly), she wouldn't need to worry about the handle being bite/tongue pull friendly.
Also in regard to the bullets, yeah, they are really small >.> again, I don't own guns so I kinda just referenced the gun itself. I probably should have done more research into round sizes before drawing the bullets but they were an after-thought and I wanted to give the impression that she was loading six rounds into the gun without one round being obscured by the other. Both the gun and the bullets were kinda "Lets wing this shit and see what happens". |
