When I see an image like this one I think, there's a furry person trying to troll us into admitting that she is no worse than us, then accusing us of bigotry when she does not get the self-justification she's begging for... A lot of furries openly admit it. That's the whole point, a lot of furries aren't even interested in "anthro", the fandom just allows them to indulge in their darker fetishes under the guise of furry. This is because the fandom makes no effort to denounce the more fucked-up fetishes and even embraces them.

We could argue this to the high heaven but the fact of the matter is that you can not deny that the fury fandom is deteriorated into what could best be described as a melting pot of fetishes and drama. Feeding trolls as much as they can until they inevitably made themselves outcasts.
I can't speak for everyone but I detest furries in this case because I never want to see furries have the same close relationship as say for example Sonic fans. If that happens and we're lumped together, in the eyes of the internet at large we will be just an offshoot of the furry fandom and treated as such. Do you guys want that? Do you want to not be able to anything even remotely pony related? Do you want to constantly deal with trolls? I don't think so. We have a (mostly) decent community here and if we want to remain as such we need to distance ourselves from furries as much as possible. |

People will always hate us for no reason but we can still try and minimize it and do our damnedest to give a good public image.
