Really, it's pretty telling how people react to these things. If Rayhiros had said he/she didn't like Derpy, the reaction would have been "GOD, SHUT UP ALREADY, THIS ISN'T IMPORTANT, NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOU RETARDS, HA HA TELL THAT FUCKER OFF SIBSY"

Its not a matter of whether or not you like derpy. If you don't like her fine. But to claim that the show is being discriminatory towards the mentally handicapped when Derpy has been shown as a klutz in the fandom for as long as I can remember is just idiotic. |

For me she'll always be Bright Eyes, with a warm heart and a loving daughter and a verbal aphasia that doesn't stop her from secretly writing poetry. Dash is just kind of a jerk (but I still love her). No one-note fanservice can take her out of my Ponyville.

I find it sad that the 2 people (maybe the same person?) who are causing a stir, are the ones calling people names, yet the ones who support sibsy and rayhiros are calm.
Anon/superichigo (assuming you aren't the same person), we didn't say "YAY RETURD SUPPORT FUK U FUK U FUK U"...no. We are merely supporting Sibsy's work and effort in her portrayal of Derpy and we feel happy that Rayhiros just so happens also want to share his love of the character. We cannot prove whether or not Rayhiro's claim of his mental handicap is true or not, but yes it does make the story a little more inspiring. Now, stop talking about "What if he didn't like Derpy?" and your other what-if scenarios. We don't know what the reaction would be and attacking us based on conjecture is pointless. I'm not mad at you two (or one?), just disappointed. |
