| Theopticals #923342 5 months ago |
That would be my response, or something along the lines of, "I don't care." |
| Frist #923344 5 months ago |
Awesome, Jay Naylor. |
| Psychopomf #923347 5 months ago |
Jay. Baby. No politics in our ponies unless its funnier.
Shoo Naylor. Go back to writing your other comic, please? |
| Anonymous #923349 5 months ago |
That was amazing.
At the very least, Celestia is a very nice absolute ruler. |
| Aggressively-Pastel #923359 5 months ago |
I don't understand how the pervasive cuckoldry fetish is going to fit into this yet. Maybe we should give him time. |
| QuelloScelto #923421 5 months ago |
Trollestia strikes again! |
| Maya #923502 5 months ago |
@sargesprinkles: yup, sometimes |
| soul_punisher #923567 5 months ago |
Had it been anypony else, Celestia would've sent them to the moon. This proves Big Mac can sway even the hearts of rulers. |
| Anonymous #923674 5 months ago |
We can worship John Joseco and Megasweet as much as we want, but Jay Naylor is still Jay friggin' Naylor!
I really don't get why someone wants him out of the pony space. Sure, he drew a lot of furry porn, but what the heck, his pony stuff is always very good. Also: is Big MacIntosh left handed? |
| bersl2 #923922 5 months ago |
If he stopped here, this would be funny. But since this is Naylor, he won't stop here.
In b4 Celestia and Fisk get into a gun battle. |
| Van_Horsing #923961 5 months ago |
@Pastel
I lawl'd. |
| bronyturtle #924009 5 months ago |
Well done Naylor, well done indeed. |
| NonAnon #924068 5 months ago |
Honestly, I prefer dictatorships over republic democracies. Grand-scale Corruption, class-warfare and abuse of power are inevitable. In such a case, it's generally best to have a few people to remove form power as possible, then start with a new leadership.
As the saying goes: "Politicians, like diapers, must be changed often; for the same reason" Plus, I think government officials would do a better job if their fuck-ups came with a death penalty. |
| NonAnon #924073 5 months ago |
as* few; from* power.
How these typos get in after 3 reviews, I'll never know. |
| CranialHeartache #924221 5 months ago |
I knew I recognized this artist. This is the same guy that posted the hentai comic about the girl who was a farmer or something and kept getting banged by different animals. At one time anthro wolves and another time an anthro horse. |
| Sheltem #924254 5 months ago |
Yes, congratulations on your pattern recognition. Now enjoy this particular piece of art on its own merits. |
| Rostam #924281 5 months ago |
i agree with first commenter |
| luciferium #924554 5 months ago |
Eww, jay fucking naylor got his hands on this. Someone get the power-washer; it's covered with Sir Charles Trevelyan's coffin slime. |
| -Lunacy #925076 5 months ago |
Naylor is awesome and 20% cooler for brony |

| majob #925521 5 months ago |
Jay forgot one thing, Might makes Right. No one in Equestria would be able to challenge Celestia's rule anyway. So this is a big, nice, case of DEAL WITH IT!
I do agree with the cutie marks though. |
| Anonymous #925585 5 months ago |
Cutie marks are one of the things I find most magical about Equestria. Imagine how different the world would be if there was something everyone, personally, was so good at, and enjoyed so much, that it was an integral part of their life and identity, and they knew what it was. Not assigned consciously -- just a feature of reality, objectively assigned correctly.
Maybe you do have something like that. Heck, I love my job about that much (math prof). But I know that I'm really, really lucky to have such a profession. Re: weather: the alternative being severe weather events, a category of disasters which deal significant damage to life and property in our world, the investment of labor seems justifiable. Depending, of course, on precise numbers. As for the monarchy: it's not hereditary, because there's no inheritance. It's the same beings. Remember? I'm sure the mayors, and possibly other civic officials are elected. For head of state, imagine the race: "Oatheart McGoodhair" versus "multi-millenium-old, wise, nationally beloved mother figure?" Oooh yeah, the polling's tough to call on that one. |
| Anonymous #928031 5 months ago |
MacIntosh does not understand Cutie Marks.
They don't predestine what you will do; They exemplify what you LIKE to do. Which is usually, but not always, the same thing. Rainbow likes racing, she has a raxing Cutie Mark she got during a RACE. What does she do? Weather services. So, epic fail on MacIntosh's part. |
| Anonymous #928054 5 months ago |
I wonder what AJ is going to say to him when he tells her the three apples on her flank are a symbol of opression...
Still, Naylor's art is cute. Not really on board with his beliefs, but hey; I'm European. We're probably all to the left of him. |
| RealityCheck #928935 5 months ago |
He's got some points, but misses a few others.
1)Cutie marks don't predetermine role, cast, or career. They're an expression of the individual character's particular aptitudes and/or personality traits.... and are highly dependent on the individual pony's own interpretation (Cheerilee's mark, were anyone else judging, would be mistaken for a gardening cutie mark. Yet she's a teacher and has her own interpretation-- that it represents a desire to see her students "bloom and grow." 2)weather control seems arbitrary. But keep in mind it prevents floods, storms, etc. And also guarantees better crops and a reliable water supply... merely flood control and irrigation carried to the next logical step. 3)As far as it goes, Celestia and Luna HAVE to rule, as they are by nature several orders of magnitude more powerful than the next most powerful unicorn, pegasus or earth pony. Even if they refused rule, the rest of the species would defer to them covertly if not overtly. And, as it's been indicated they DO have blood relatives and descendants (the leak about the up and coming royal wedding), presumably their heirs and relatives share the same burden... this also does not preclude parliamentary system, where the royal family reigns but does not rule. |
| Tarukai788 #929471 5 months ago |
honestly? this wasn't terribly good for Naylor.
Is it funny? a bit. The seemingly well-orchestrated mindset of Big Macintosh put to a letter to the ruler, dismissed due to length. the problem? someone's trying to flex the vocabulary joke a bit too much. |
| Calbeck #929488 5 months ago |
It's a tl;dr joke. THAT'S THE JOKE. -:D |
| Nightweaver20xx #935143 5 months ago |
I don't think so Jay. |
| Anonymous #951605 5 months ago |
Oh hey, more proof that Jay has no fucking idea what the show is about. Or how the characters think. |

Copypasting Lockean social contract arguments tends to break down when you realize the ruler isn't a hereditary monarchy, but an immortal god-empress of ponykind. |
| Anonymous #1031210 5 months ago |
True that 236. |
| Anonymous #1141416 4 months ago |
This is why i truly despise Jay Naylor, fucking objectivist dumbass thinks he knows the whole fucking world and then we come along and bust his little republican bubble to wake him up to the reality that isn't his self centered mind. Fucks sake i live in a socialist country that's been around for 110 years! If socialism was supposed to fail for lack of economic strength then why the fuck is my country still in existence? |
