How awful!
Rarity is using an improper way of holding a heavy blunt weapon. The proper way is to hold it with both hands to reduce likelihood of losing grip during swing and upon impact, and to not hold it by things such as hair that increase likelihood of slipping grip or loss of integrity of the weapon. Also, holding the weapon with only one hand on its end when it is rather flexible could lead to a bending of the object that will absorb some of the forces. |
