You just know they're going to do this. It may not be until Season 3, but sooner or later they're going to do a "Twilight screws up a spell and reverts one or more of the cast to babies" episode. |

Pinkie as supervisor of five foals? Her mind and energy levels would never survive such an encounter. Dash alone would be triply hard to manage as a mere filly, let alone as a foal!
In my humble opinion, if such an episode were ever to occur in FiM, it should most certainly be either the fault of one of Twilight's spells or a CMC "Oh, we'll help make X happen for Y pony"-while-accidentally-screwing-things-up-style episode, similar to H&H Day. The latter would likely involve yet another potion. Each of these plots are now equally as viable as the other, and that's what makes it a brilliant concept. Conversely, the other eagerly anticipated and common TV show plotline episode, the mind-swap, has to be the result of a badly-spoken/directed spell, as I don't think potions can do that sort of thing. Besides, who in Ponyville would benefit from a deliberate action from mind-swapping? It's not Red Dwarf! Unless two of the characters have an argument over who has the harder life, and each think the other would understand better if they spent but a day in their horseshoes... But, hey, I digress from this picture! Very cute, and certainly fits the personalities of the adult mane 6 (minus Pinkie) that we all know and love. Except Fluttershy's wanting for attention. Unless she's scared and just wants comforting. I have no idea how to properly interpret her hug-seeking. |
