@#924098: American Psycho didn't ruin the song for me. I've heard many great songs played in an ironic context in films before, and it doesn't affect my enjoyment of them. I suppose whether or not the movie ruined the song for you would depend on how disturbed you were by the film. It was a messed up movie, sure, but it was also darkly humorous in a lot of ways, and using that song was part of what made the film uniquely quirky. |
