...yeah okay I don't think I'm up for shutting myself off from all entertainment for a month. |
| CogWeaver #921461 5 months ago |
And here...we...Go! |
| Theopticals #921470 5 months ago |
Good thing I just bought my Simon and Garfunkel CD, who knows what would have happened if I bought it in March. |
| Anonymous #921472 5 months ago |
Ponies are still allowed, right? I'll be fine so long as I have my ponies. |
| TobiasKazama #921476 5 months ago |
Good thing I already have Skyrim. |
| NecromanseR_RuS #921479 5 months ago |
oh god it means that i life with this style over 3 years? Fuck yeah |
| CogWeaver #921482 5 months ago |
Neat idea, but I don't think it's going to have a great impact on most people unless it was backed up by massive legitimate sources (like the SOPA blackouts with Google and Wikipedia and such)
I will say though that, if that New-Zealand thing is true, that is crossing many lines and I hope it gets brought up as something against the bills. That's assuming it's true, though, and on something like this? On the internet? I'm gonna need something a little more credible, sorry |
| cyber95 #921483 5 months ago |
I wouldn't think ponies should be allowed. What makes books, movies, games, and music disallowed, but not TV, besides the fact that nobody's willing to give up TV. |
| Theopticals #921496 5 months ago |
Why don't we all just go and live in the woods for a month. Live off berries and leaves and things. THAT'LL SHOW THEM. |
| CKSM96 #921498 5 months ago |
I failed already by pre-ordering Mass Effect 3, but I'll do my best otherwise. |
| NightJack #921507 5 months ago |
Sorry but that's actually a dumb idea, that's jjust going to hurt the economy and not all media companies should be held on the same level, it's mostly film and music companies that are the problem, most companies for printed media try to get stuff out in as many formats as possible and in the case of if one it sells very well it will print more and reduce the price, so why include them when they are being a lot more far with products they make. |
| NightJack #921513 5 months ago |
*sees I put "more far"*
dang it... |
| feather #921521 5 months ago |
this seems like a ridiculous idea. I understand the idea of boycotting as a form of protest, but really, this ultimately is an INVISIBLE ACTION. You really don't effect change by NOT doing something. If you want to protest, the boycott is fine, sure, but you ALSO have to do something visible. Writie letters, march with signs, blackout websites, skywrite a manifesto, do SOMETHING so SOMEONE knows what your goal is. |
| NightJack #921524 5 months ago |
@feather
I was just about to say the same thing... |
| Anonymous #921525 5 months ago |
I agree only movies and music should be included in this. Most video game distributors dislike SOPA just as much as we do. |
| JP #921530 5 months ago |
But this is how I live for 99% of the time, being a poor student and all. Easiest "protest" of my life. |
| CogWeaver #921534 5 months ago |
@JP
*EPIC STARVING STUDENT BROHOOF!* |
| Zancrow #921546 5 months ago |
Eh, kinda dumb that Megaupload is closed, but the one running it deserved to be caught. Dude is a massive dick. |
| Krisars #921561 5 months ago |
Sorry, but I'm not doing it since I'll have Mass Effect 3 coming March. |
| DoctorDreidal #921651 5 months ago |
Well, technicslly I already paid for my copy of ME3. but other than that, I won't buy anything at all. |
| DoctorDreidal #921666 5 months ago |
Technically* |
| Karadros #921673 5 months ago |
Mass Effect 3. So sorry, but no. :3 |
| Zancrow #921766 5 months ago |
lol Everyone and their mother is buying ME3 xD
Well, I'll, too : P |
| HeinousActsZX #921789 5 months ago |
I don't think not supporting the economy is the best course of action here. |
| Anonymous #922684 5 months ago |
Will do! |
| Anonymous #922694 5 months ago |
And to all Bronies if you can, DO NOT watch TV! |

Deported, really? Wow. That's a waste of taxpayer money.
All to shut off file host websites for a year or so, while the case rages on. Remember what happened to Kevin Mitnick? Same might happen to them. |
